The Valley County Health System Child Development Committee is excited to announce that we will once again be sponsoring the Valley County Kids Fair. It will be on Saturday March 26 from 10:00 until noon at the Trotter Event Center in Ord. Families with children preschool through sixth grade are welcome to attend. This special event is entirely free of charge. It will be a fun morning with booths providing child-friendly activities. Just for Kix dancers will be providing stage entertainment. Lots of door prizes will be given away.

The VCHS Child Development Committee is also participating in the Big Give. They are completely funded by donations and managed by volunteers. In addition to the Kids Fair, they also give baby bags to new parents in Valley County, help with Family Literacy Night at the Elementary School, sponsor the Ord North Pole Express, and provide family entertainment activities such as concerts and magic shows. This committee works hard to help make Valley County a family-friendly place to live.
