A man was arrested early Monday morning in Grand Island after police say he committed crimes throughout the community. Witnesses told them it all started with an argument involving Miguel Villatoro in the Peacock Lounge parking lot, around 1:19 a.m. They say he then used his vehicle to seriously injure a pedestrian by intentionally run his vehicle into them. Villatoro then drove away from the parking lot and then crashed his vehicle into the Capitol Car Wash, but the Villatoro didn’t stop there. He then drove his vehicle home where cops found him and tried to arrest Villatoro. He resisted arrest the entire time officers tried to handcuff him and at one point he even spit in an officers face. When police checked Villatoro’s record it came back that he had two warrants already out in Hall County. Now he is adding to his record a long list of charges including DUI with serious bodily injury, 1st degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer.
