The call said the vehicle left the roadway and rolled until it struck a tree trapping all three occupants inside the vehicle. Deputies and North Platte Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, where they found the 17 year-old driver from North Platte with serious injuries. They were eventually able to free the driver and transported to Great Plains Health. The passenger in the front seat, a 13-year-old from North Platte was also freed from the vehicle and taken to Great Plains Health before they were transported to an Omaha Hospital. The backseat passenger in the vehicle was 12-years-old and had sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Great Plains Health and then flown to an Omaha Hospital.
