A Nebraska State Trooper pulled over a vehicle on I-80 near North Platte on Thursday and found more than 250 pounds of cocaine worth more than $4 million. The traffic stop occurred around 11:40 a.m. 14 miles west of North Platte. The trooper noticed a Mitsubishi Outlander traveling eastbound with a license plate violation and pulled the driver over. A patrol K-9 was brought to the scene and conducted a search around the vehicle. The K-9 detected the odor of a controlled substance and when the officers searched the vehicle the search turned up 258 pounds of cocaine.
