Two Grand Island Teenagers are charged in a string of thefts and burglaries Grand Island Police say. GIPD said that 18-year-old Rodolfo Penaflor Jr. along with a 15-year-old boy were arrested on Saturday morning after police found stolen items in their apartment. The items were connected to a theft earlier that morning that happened in the 2000 block of West Louise Street. Police said the suspects broke into GMC Yukon that was parked in the victims garage. The victim stated that the items stolen included her purse and other valuables, including debit and credit cards. GIPD said that one of the items stolen had a tracking device on it and that aided them in finding the suspects and the items in their apartment.
