Gibbon Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Two Children

A Gibbon man is behind bars and is facing charges for sexually assaulting two children. Vincent Herrell, 30-years-old, of Gibbon was arrested on Friday and booked into Buffalo County Jail and a judge set his bond at $50,000. The charges he faces are first-degree and third-degree sexual assault of a child. The affidavit of the arrest is sealed, but the complaints about the crime give some detail of the crimes. The documents say that Herrell subjected  a victim under the age of 12-years-old to sexual penetration and subjected another child who is 14-years-old or younger to sexual contact. Records say that the incidents occured in February of 2018.
