Temporary Casino Around the Corner for Fonner Park

Fonner Park is getting ready to open its temporary casino after the Nebraska State Fair. When the State Fair wraps up on Sept. 5th, Elite Casino and Fonner Park executives said they hope to start work getting the temporary casino facility set up on the concourse at Fonner Park. Their hope is to have the building filled with 300 slot machines and with several gambling tables before this year ends. People who excited for the casino will have to wait a while though as Fonner Park officials expect the temporary facility to be ready around Thanksgiving. The permanent facility will follow after a couple years.
