A Lincoln man died in prison while serving a sentence for murdering his wife. 41-year-old Kevin Miller died Thursday at the Johnson County Hospital while he was incarcerated at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. He was serving a life sentence for charges out of Lancaster County for first degree murder and use of a firearm to commit a felony. A cause of death has still not been confirmed but Miller was being treated for a medical condition while in prison. Since Miller died while custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, a grand jury will conduct an investigation into the death. Miller killed and dismembered his wife, Kelsey, in November of 2014 and police later found her remains in a storage unit in Lincoln a week after her disappearance.
