Jim Pillen will mirror Pete Ricketts as another Governor to not live in the Nebraska Governor’s Mansion. Pillen recently announced that he will remain in Columbus for his first term as Governor citing family as the main factor in the decision. Pillen has a son still in High School and he also has many grandchildren who live in the area. He will be making the 75-mile journey to Lincoln everyday to conduct business and then return home after he is done.
