According to acting U.S. Attorney Steven Russell, 29-year-old Christian Genchi, was sentenced in Federal Court on Friday in Omaha. He was sentenced on charges of intent to distribute methamphetamine and possessing a firearm while committing a drug trafficking crime. He received 120 months in prison for the intent to distribute charge and received another 60 months for the firearms charge for a total of 180 months in prison. He will also have to serve two five-year terms of supervised release. According to court records, Omaha Police were searching a home on the 38th block of Gordon St. on Aug. 9, 2021. While searching the home they found a safe in the garage. Once they got into the safe they found a H&R 733 revolver and 3 lbs. of meth. The officers discovered that the safe belonged to Genchi and arrested him.
