The Grand Island Police were called to a residence on Tuesday for a report of a man who allegedly tried to drive into a house and run a family over. According to the report, Reynier Rivero Faez went to the home of his ex-girlfriend and threatened her and her family, then used his vehicle to try and drive through the residence and injure the family. One of the family members was struck when Faez drove through the gate on the property. He then continued to threaten the family with a machete and threw it at one of the family members. Faez was arrested when police arrived for terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, child abuse, and assault.
