What happens when a young boy plants wonder beans in his own backyard? For Jack, it is the beginning of a great adventure. Audiences are invited to come along this Saturday, August 10th when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 55 local students present JACK AND THE BEANSTALK.
The local cast features Daniel Robinson as Jack, Kayla Ogle as Mother, Cheyenne McCain as Milky White, Madelyn Yantzie as the Magic Harp, Tenley Ramm as Jill and Zavian Pike as the legendary Giant. Adding a unique twist to the story will be an unusual mix of characters including Annaliese Bogus, Faith Bogus, Silas Bogus, Deborah Bruwer, Ella Deden, Harper Hackel, Lily Holmquist, Karoline Ogle, Dakota Rogers, and Lettie Waterman as the Farmers, Isabella Bruwer, Zanetta Durre, Harlie Hackel, Adeline Koelling, Elinor Koelling, Tad McCain, Macy Sitz, Maximus Waterman, Emerson Yantzie, and Madelyn Yantzie as the Merchants and Isaac Bogus, Sophia Bruwer, Ezra Dorsey, Brielle Durre, Coy Holmquist, Oakley Holmquist, Abian John, Gideon Koelling, Canyon McCain, Tyler McCain, Taylin Phillips, Traelee Phillips, Zurrrek Pike, Dezalynn Rogers, Mae Sikyta, Tatum Sikyta, Mya Sitz, Cecily Trampe, and Nasya Waterman as the Circus Performers. Chloe Dulitz, Haven Hackel, Sawyer Hougnon, Reagan Hughes, Catherine Koelling, and Aria Rosberg will appear as the Wonder Beans. Jerriah Durre, Adair Holmquist and Lanae Sevigny have served as Assistant Directors throughout the week.
JACK AND THE BEANSTALK will be presented at 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm at The Golden Husk. Tickets are available at The Golden Husk, the Ord Area Chamber Office and at the door. Tickets are also available online at goldenhuskarts.org.
