Someone in Fremont is holding a Nebraska Lottery ticket worth $25,000 a year for life.
The winning Lucky for Life ticket was sold at Baker’s grocery store at 1531 North Bell Street in Fremont. According to the Nebraska Lottery, the ticket matched all five white ball numbers in Sunday’s drawing—those numbers were 16, 26, 30, 34, and 43. The Lucky Ball was 6. Matching all six numbers would have secured the top prize of $1,000 a day for life, but this winning ticket landed the second-tier prize.
The odds of winning $25,000 a year for life in the Lucky for Life game are 1 in 1,813,028. Winners can choose to receive the prize as annual payments for the rest of their life or opt for a lump sum payout. The annuity option guarantees at least 20 years of payments.
Players are reminded that winning Nebraska Lottery tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing date. Prizes over $20,000 must be redeemed in person at the Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln.
