Man Dies in North Platte Cement Truck Accident

Around 1:20 PM on Saturday, North Platte Police officers were called to Paulsens Inc. Ready Mix on South Newberry Road after reports of a deceased individual found inside the drum of a cement mixer. Upon arrival, officers identified the victim as 52-year-old Brian Janssen. Preliminary investigations suggest that Janssen was conducting maintenance work on the cement truck when the tragic work-related accident occurred. The North Platte Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division determined that his death was accidental and directly linked to the maintenance work he was performing at the time.
