Diana resided in Genoa until the age of four when the family moved to San Diego, California in 1952. They moved to Waldron, Arkansas in 1954, where she completed grade school and then to Columbus, Nebraska for her junior high years. In 1960, the family moved to Monroe where she graduated from high school and met her future husband, Milton Hill.
Following high school Diana worked in Columbus as a key punch operator at Dale Electronic. Deciding that she need more adventure, Diana joined the United States Navy where she had wonderful experiences working at the Pentagon in the office of legislative affairs until 1971. She loved her experiences in the Navy and was proud of her military service.
On May 22, 1971, Diana and Milton Hill were united in marriage at Monroe, Nebraska. The couple made their first home in Norfolk, VA where Diana worked at New York Life. She continued working for New York Life when they moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. In August of 1976, they relocated to Henderson, Nebraska, where their three girls were born.
The family settled in Ord in 1981, and added a son, Joshua, to their family. Diana loved being a stay-at-home mom with her children while selling Fuller Brush and Watkins products part time. She later worked at United Nebraska Bank and H&R Block until retirement in 2014.
The last 3 years have been difficult with several illnesses. As her health declined, she never complained but always said it will be okay, even until the end. Her faith in Jesus and her family were her rocks. Her family will cherish the precious times together and all the memories.
Diana was an active member of Heartland of Assembly of God Church for 40 years and loved her church family. She served in many capacities; her greatest joy was helping lead worship. Diana was an avid reader and singer. She loved to sing and worship her Lord and Savior. We are so happy she is now singing with the angels and all the loved ones that were waiting to greet her into Heaven.
