A Grand Island man is facing multiple charges following a drug investigation that police say has been ongoing for at least six months. Authorities arrested twenty-year-old Emmanuel Arita on Thursday after serving a search warrant at a residence on West Fifth Street.
According to investigators, Arita is accused of employing a sixteen-year-old to distribute large quantities of marijuana and THC products. The juvenile involved had previously been arrested as part of the investigation.
Police say Arita was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, as well as employing a minor under the age of eighteen in connection with drug distribution activities. The investigation remains ongoing.
