BURWELL — The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration will be hosting an unused prescription pill drop-off this weekend in Burwell.
Folks are invted to stop by the Garfield County Courthouse and rid their homes of potentially dangerous, expired and unwanted prescription drugs. The idea is to help prevent abuse of these substances.
The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles, only pills and patches.
The event runs from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and items can be dropped off at the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office.
