MERNA — The man killed in a Merna trailer fire this week has been identified.
The body of Michale McAlevy, 59, was found inside the trailer after a fire Monday night.
Fire departments from Merna and Broken Bow responded and were able to save the structure from being completely destroyed and stop the fire from spreading to nearby properties.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and an autopsy on the body has been ordered.
