ODESSA — Charges filed against an Ohio man over a stabbing incident in Buffalo County have been dropped.
Caleb McDonald, 19, was arrested for assault and other crimes after an April 2015 altercation.
Authorities say McDonald and another man were traveling in separate vehicles on a county road in Odessa when they exchanged words. The men got out of their vehicles and McDonald stabbed him.
The was given a psychiatric evaluation that concluded a state law wouldn’t permit prosecution.
