LINCOLN — A group trying to legalize casino gambling at Nebraska horse racing tacks is feeling good about its effort .
Keep the Money in Nebraska has raised about $1.1 million in an effort to place the issue on the 2016 general election ballot. Even more, organizers says they are confident they will have enough signatures by the July 7th submission deadline.
Meanwhile, an opposition groups says they focused on the general election. Gambling with the Good Life is made of churches, business leaders and others who will encourage voters to reject the proposal.
