NE) WinterFest and Small Business Saturday are just around the
corner! The Ord Area Chamber of Commerce will rally the Valley County
area on November 26 as a Neighborhood Champion for the national Small
Business Saturday campaign.
Any
local business, youth group or organization is invited to participate
in the annual WinterFest Parade by adorning a vehicle, trailer, golf
cart or ATV with lights to coincide with the parade theme, “Valley
County Lights the Way.” A new aspect of the parade this year is
prizes of $50 in Ord Area ChamberBucks that will be awarded to
entries in the categories of Most Lights, Most Creative and Most
Holiday Related. Chamber businesses and organizations also receive
the exclusive benefit of participating in the annual Snowball Drop by
offering a special promotion or gift that will be associated with an
individual snowball. The morning of Small Business Saturday, the
snowballs of savings will fall from the sky and attendees will redeem
the snowball offerings at the Shop Small Headquarters immediately
following the Snowball Drop. The registration deadline for the
WinterFest Parade and Snowball Drop is November 11 at 5pm.
