At last night’s Ord City Council meeting, requests for street closures were front and center.
The City Council approved closures for Scratchtown Brewery, in front of their business, at 16th and M Streets. Also, 16th Street will be closed from 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Fridays, starting June 9, for the Ord Farmers Market. 15th Street will be closed for the Can Caravan on June 6, and there will be various street closures for the upcoming Rod Run.
Also, Roy and Lisa Farrens received approval to set up and operate a food truck and the Golden Husk’s request for a special liquor license for June 23 has been tabled until the next council meeting.
