A Memorial Day service will be held on the east side of the Ord City Cemetery on Monday, May 29 at 10:30 am.
The speaker for the event will be Major Virginia Witulski with the Air National Guard of Lincoln, NE. The VFW, American Legion and Auxiliaries, and Sons of the American Legion color guards, and the Ord elementary music department will participate.
Following the Memorial Day service, there will be a luncheon at the Veterans Club hosted by the Ord chapter of the American Legion hosted by the Sons of the American Legion. The lunch is free to all veterans and their spouses with a charge for all others atttending.
