An anonymous donor has pledged $2,679,001 in an online auction to have lunch with billionaire Warren Buffett.
The chairman of Berkshire Hathaway holds this auction annually to raise for money for Glide, a chjarity based in San Francisco, endorsed by Buffett’s first wife, Susan, that provides food, health care, and other services to the homeless, the impoverished, and those battling substance abuse.
The largest donation made to have lunch with Buffett was $3,456,789, which was given in both 2012 and 2016.
