The 2017 4-H District Horse Show was held at the Taylor Junior Rodeo Arena north of Taylor last week. There were ten classes, from Hunter Under Saddle to Reining to Barrel Racing. 23 counties and lots of talent were at the show.
Kelley Bode from Garfield County won both Senior Pole Bending and Senior Barrel Racing with a purple ribbon and trophy. Ethan Naughtin from Wheeler County received a red ribbon in senior reining. Shelby Naughtin from Wheeler County received a blue in Junior Western Pleasure, a blue in Junior Western Horsemanship, a purple in Junior Pole Bending, and a purple in Junior Barrel Racing.
Shyann Worm from Loup County and Ethan Naughtin were the flag bearers. The National Anthem was sung by Ashley Odenbach from Loup County.
