Loup County District was being voted on due to their low enrollment of less than 25 for two consecutive years. If the District were to be voted no to continue operation, the Loup County Public School would have dissolved, and consolidated with neighboring districts no further than 15 miles.
LCPS showed appreciation and excitement for the votes in their favor. This was posted on Loup County Public School’s Facebook page: The YES Votes have been heard!! 311-18….65% voter turnout! Thank you to everyone who voted YES and those who supported the school!! LCPS Proud!
