After his vehicle flipped in a collision on Tuesday, a Columbus man was cited for driving without a license for the 4th time this year.
CPD reported that two vehicles collided leaving the mans SUV totaled and upside down on 21st Street. No one was injured in the accident.
Miguel Ayala-Zavala, 22, was driving eastbound in a 1997 Chevy SUV, when he was hit by another Chevy SUV that entered the intersection at roughly the same time, says reports.
Ayala-Zavala does not have a license and was cited for driving without an operator’s permit for the 4th time this year. He can be charged with a class 1 misdemeanor and can lead to his license being revoked for two years.
Ayala-Zavala is due in court on January 22nd for charges consisting of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no operators permit, and improper vehicle lighting, stemming from an arrest in October, according to records.
Platte County Sheriffs records say Ayala-Zavala was jailed on a Colfax County Warrant on Sunday.
