YORK Another significant drug bust was made on Interstate 80 in York County Monday afternoon.
York County Sheriffs Lt. Paul Vrbka says a deputy stopped a vehicle approximately two miles west of York for a traffic violation shortly after 3:30 p.m.
The deputy approached the vehicle which had a strong odor of marijuana. The deputy searched the vehicle finding 260 pounds of high grade marijuana inside eight duffel bags. It was estimated a value of $1.1 million.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, 44-year-old Paguer Aguiar of Florida, was arrested and lodged into the York County jail.
Aguiar was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
