Even though online voters registration closed as of midnight, April 30, 2018, those interested in voting for the May 15 primary can still do so by registering at the county election office. The absolute final day to register prior to the primary election is 6:00 PM local time on Friday, May 4.
John Gale, with the Secretary of State Office says its important for online users to keep in mind that any new voter registrations or updates received online after midnight on April 30 will not qualify for the May 15 primary.
Nearly 115,000 voter registrations have been filed through online registration on NEReg2Vote, counting for 16 percent of all voter registrations received since launched in September of 2015.
