
Kelsie Privoznik Bloom of Ord, appeared in Valley County Court Wednesday morning, October 23rd. Bloom has been charged with motor vehicle homicide and DUI and DUI Drug 1st offense. The motor vehicle homicide charge is a class 2A felony which could mean up to 20 years in prison. Blooms attorney Michael Borders asked for a PR bond instead of the $500,000 bond she currently has. Bloom would like to return to Valley Hope in O’Neill, NE to continue the drug treatment she was receiving before her arrest. Bloom was arrested for the death of 52 year old Sandy Psota of Ord.
At the time of the accident that killed Psota, Bloom had 5 different substances in her system and according to the judge was out on bond for opioid abuse. The judge agreed to a bond of $110,000 with the condition that is she is able to post bond that she could not drive and would have to continue to receive treatments.
UPDATE: As of 3:30 pm Wednesday, October 23rd Bloom has posted bond and is going to treatment.
