Russia launched it attack against Ukraine only a few weeks ago but already a refuge crisis is unfolding. St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Paul is working to provide aid to people being affected by this crisis. Lutheran Disaster Response, a humanitarian response group, and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and other partners are looking to provide refugees with support and supplies such as hygiene kits, water, food, and blankets. Pastor Steven of St. Mark’s encourages people to donate through them so they can keep track but if people wish to donate through the Lutheran Disaster Response website that is fine as well. Pastor Steven also said the 100% of donations targeted for the Eastern European Crisis will go to helping this in the region who are affected.
