A Grand Island man faces multiple charges after he allegedly kidnapped a teen at gunpoint and forced him into a vehicle. Christopher Holt, 26, is charged with kidnapping, possessing or receiving a stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, terroristic threats, two counts of use of a firearm to commit a felony and three counts of third-degree assault. According to a news release from the GIPD, on April 17, Holt reported a burglary at his home in Grand Island where cash and shoes were reported missing. On April 20, Holt allegedly contacted a 16-year-old male associated with potential suspects in the burglary complaint. Holt assaulted the 16-year-old and against his will forced him into a vehicle at gun point. After Holt took the 16-year-old back to his residence but the 16-year-old was able to escape and ran to a neighboring residence to get help. Holt’s bond has been set at 10% of $100,000 which he posted Monday. He is to appear May 10 in Hall County Court.
