GIPD says that around 8 p.m. officers observed a motorcycle speeding excessively through a residential area with no regard for the traffic around him. When police tried to make contact with the rider, who was identified as Tony Perez 33-years-old of Hastings, in the 1400 block of West John St. officers were able to observe Perez trying to hide behind a vehicle as he discarded of property. Because of this Police were able to locate 18 grams of methamphetamine, 31.2 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Perez was eventually stopped by police and they were able to determine that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended drivers license. When question Perez also revealed that he was distributing marijuana and methamphetamine. He was arrested for DDS, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of A Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession of A Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute Meth.
