A woman is out thousands of dollars after she reported a man stole her wallet after she left it unattended in a shopping cart. She reported that a male suspect stole her Louis Vuitton wallet, $1,000 in cash she had in her wallet and her six bank cards and driver’s license. GIPD said the woman also reported that her bank cards were used to make purchases of $3,869.98 at Best Buy and a purchase of $2,896.70 worth of items at Sam’s Club. GIPD Capt. Duering said investigators have surveillance footage of the suspect. Also at this point, Duering isn’t sure the woman will be able to recover her stolen funds.
