A Grand Island man is in jail after the FBI arrested him for having committed alleged child porn crimes. Scott Meyers, 33-years-old, of Grand Island is being charged in Hall County with visual depiction of explicit sexual content. The court records say that FBI agents and Hall County deputies served Meyer’s with a warrant for his arrest and to search his home on Thursday night. The FBI says that during an interview Meyers admitted that he had created child pornography. The agents said they found images showing children performing pornographic activities. State records show that Meyer is already a registered sex offender and was registered in 2013 after a conviction. His appearance in court is scheduled for Sept. 26.
