Nebraska State Patrol find 100 Pounds of Meth in Traffic Stop on I-80

The Nebraska State Patrol said troopers arrested four people with dozens of pounds of drugs in a traffic stop on Tuesday on I-80. Jhonny Martinez, 38 of Hyattsville, Maryland, and passengers Tonny Chacon, 24, of Lorton, Virginia; Rene Morales, 27, of Falls Church, Virginia; and Marta Rodriguez, 38, of Falls Church, Virginia for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, and no drug tax stamp according to the release. The traffic stop occurred near Utica on I-80 for a license plate violations. A K9 was brought to the scene and detected the odor of drugs in the vehicle and once the troopers searched the vehicle they found 100 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and nine pounds of suspected fentanyl in the vehicle.
