Lincoln Police have arrested a 15-year-old girl and her 16-year-old boyfriend for the stabbing death of the girl’s father on Monday. In a news conference the police said said that officers were called Monday afternoon to the apartment of the 70-year-old Jesse Gilmer and found him dead with stab wounds. Police say that Gilmer’s teenage daughter was the one who called 911 and told dispatchers that she arrived at the apartment after school and found the father injured and unconscious. The police arrested the girl on suspicion of first-degree murder after the police questioned her. The police also later arrest her boyfriend for suspicion of aiding and abetting first-degree murder. Officials have not yet established a motive for the murder.
