UNK Student Teacher in Accused of Sexual Assaulting a High School Student

23-year-old KeyShaun Van Dyke was arrested on Saturday after Kearney Public Schools called Kearney Police Department about a student teacher and a teenage student possibly having a sexual relationship. After an investigation by police Van Dyke was arrested on first-degree sexual assault charges. Information about the incident in a news releases said that none of the encounters happened during school hours or on the school’s property.
