
LINCOLN, Neb. — According to the recruiting site 247 Sports, Nebraska quarterback Jeff Sims is expecting to enter the the NCAA transfer portal.
Sims transferred to Nebraska from Georgia Tech and became the starter under first-year head coach Matt Rhule. Sims sat for most of the season following five starts, during which he struggled with turnovers, including six interceptions. He put up 282 yards in the air with one passing touchdown and a completion rate of 59.6%. On the ground, he ran for 189 yards and one touchdown.
