A legal case involving the individual who owned the Wood River residence, which exploded last Saturday, has been closed due to the individual’s passing.
According to Hall County property records, the proprietor of the property at 107 East 11th St. was 50-year-old Craig Zinsser Beauvait. The dwelling was obliterated in a forceful explosion on Saturday morning. Authorities found human remains among the debris later that Saturday evening.
On Monday, the Hall County Attorney stated that the remains were not definitively identified. Dental records were requested, and arrangements were made for an autopsy in Omaha.
However, a protective order against Zinsser Beauvait filed by his wife for domestic abuse was dismissed on Monday. In the request for dismissal, the woman’s legal representative noted Zinsser Beauvait’s passing.
