A 19-year-old Grand Island resident is facing multiple charges following an undercover operation by local law enforcement. Hall County Court documents show that Garrett Tadlock has been charged with four counts related to child enticement by electronic device.
Law enforcement reports indicate that on September 27, Tadlock initiated online communication with what he believed to be a 13-year-old girl, who was actually an undercover Grand Island Police Department officer. Court documents allege that during these exchanges, Tadlock attempted to arrange a sexual encounter with the presumed minor, requesting her address and discussing plans to pick her up from school.
The operation culminated when Tadlock allegedly arranged a meeting at a Dairy Queen located at 1421 S. Eddy Street, where officers took him into custody upon his arrival.
His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Hall County Court, where he will face formal presentation of the charges against him.
