Vincent Hulinsky of Burwell passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at CHI Good Samaritan Health System Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 81 years.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Calamus Trinity Methodist Church in Burwell, Nebraska. Pastor JB Sikes will officiate. Interment will be in the Bohemian National Cemetery West of Ord. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Still Waters Funeral Parlor. Vincent Hulinsky was born October 28, 1943, at Burwell, Nebraska to Mike E. and Alice M. (Bruha) Hulinsky. He was raised on the family farm eight miles south of Burwell and graduated from Burwell High School in 1962.
Vince and Janice Fales were united in marriage on August 16, 1964, at Taylor, Nebraska. To this union three children were born, Pam, Vicki and Kevin. Vince began farming with his father at a young age and made his home on the family farm.
In 1970, Vince began formulating and selling livestock minerals. Through the years his business expanded and became, “Ag West Feeds Inc.”, specializing in mineral formulas to meet the needs of his customers. Vince never did retire; he was a part of the feed store until his passing. He was dedicated to livestock and his customers which became his longtime friends.
Later in life, Vince married Gloria June (Cone) Worden at the First Christian Church in Burwell. The couple made their home in Burwell.
Vince was involved in R-CALF USA, Stock Growers and ICON and attended the First Christian Church. He enjoyed Polka Dances, making sauerkraut and dumplings and spending time with grandchildren. Vince was an avid hunter; especially coyotes and was known to explore the terrain at a fast speed during the hunts.
Survivors include his wife, June of Burwell; children, Pam (Matt) Davis of Waverly, Vicki (Craig) Mauler of Sargent and Kevin (Cheryl) Hulinsky of Burwell; step children, Pam (Mike) Rolf of West Point, Cindy (Stan) Urbanovsky of Arnold, Teresa (Doug) Powers of Hersey and Shannon (Jerry) Bruha of Comstock; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 23 step great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray (Virginia) Hulinsky of Iowa; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Hulinsky and Connie Jean Hulinsky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Stanley and Lumir; and a sister, Edith Burson.
