A fugitive who had evaded authorities for more than six years has been arrested in Nebraska. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reports that Jorge Fonseca-Dominguez was taken into custody at a residence in North Platte. Fonseca-Dominguez has a lengthy criminal record, including criminal trespass, DWI, and multiple drug-related charges, and had been listed on the U.S. Marshals’ Most Wanted list. Officials say he previously served a 10-month federal sentence for illegally re-entering the United States after deportation. After unlawfully returning once again, he failed to report to his probation officer, prompting a nationwide search. Fonseca-Dominguez is now being held at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
