The York Police Department is investigating the disappearance of a 17-year-old reported missing earlier this month.
Johnathan Sipe was reported as a missing or runaway juvenile on Saturday, February 7. On Tuesday, officers determined that Sipe had been in the Grand Island area. Authorities say the case remains active as officers continue efforts to locate him and ensure his safe return.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone with information about Sipe’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the York Police Department. If there is an immediate sighting, residents are urged to call 911.
Officials say there is no indication at this time that Sipe is in danger or that his safety is at risk. Police are encouraging him to return home.
