ORD — A redevelopment plan for the future location of the Cobblestone Inn and Suites in Ord has been approved by the City Council.
The hotel will be located at the JAT subdivision lot at the south side of the city off of Highway 11 next to where the Shopko will be going in. Cobblestone fills a need for lodging which has been an issue for suppliers and visitors passing through the area.
The $5 million structure will have 40 rooms and a conference center which fits about 500 people. Dirt work on the hotel is expected to begin in November with an estimated opening in June of 2016.
