ORD — Area businesses received another letter attacking Ord’s Scratchtown Brewery this week.
Multiple letters have been sent throughout the last couple of months attacking the families of the founders, the quality of the product and the effect the authors perceive Scratchtown has had on the area since it opened in 2013.
While other letters have been signed “Ord Senior Sitizens”, this one feigns the point-of-view of co-founder Caleb Pollard and uses the Stratchtown logo and address. It also claims local restaurants are adding salt to food to foce people to drink more Scratchtown beer.
The Valley County Sheriff and Ord Police Department are interested in any information individuals may have about the source of these letters.
