COLUMBUS — After an investigation into the incident, a 94-year-old man won’t be cited for hitting a woman with his car in the parking lot of a pharmacy in Columbus.
The report shows the man was attempting to back out of a parking space when he accidently put the car in drive. He accelerated onto the sidewalk and hit a 42-year-old woman, pinning her between the vehicle and the building.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash caused an estimated $5,000 in damage.
