GRAND ISLAND — Grand Island High School is looking into eliminating its class ranking system.
This comes after the Millard and Seward School Districts decided to cut rankings. Administrators at GI say the preliminary reason is concern over students enrolling in courses to boost rank regardless of college or career plans.
Any changes would not affect students already enrolled at the school. A final recommendation is not likely until March.
