LINCOLN — After three straight losses, Nebraska women’s basketball earns its first conference win with a 74-57 win over Illinois, on Sunday.
The Huskers held the Illini to 33.3% shooting. The visitors also missed 19 three pointers. UNL was paced by Jessica Shepard who managed 29 points and 19 rebounds.
The game was one of two at home in a stretch in which the team place five of seven on the road.
