LINCOLN — For the sixth time this season, Nebraska’s Jessica Shepard has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
She averaged a double-double in games against #8 Maryland and Illinois this week. That includes pulling down a career-high 19 rebounds with 29 points against the Illini on Sunday.
She’s topped 20 seven times this season and has six double-doubles.
